Single-Pilot 800m RVR Limitation
With effect from 30 Oct 25, the regulation that imposed an approach ban on Single-Pilot operators carrying out instrument approaches to below 800m RVR/VIS, without the use of additional equipment, was removed.
Unless SOPs or the Ops Manual impose a higher restriction, the regulation at (AMC2 NCO.OP.110 Aerodrome operating minima — aeroplanes and helicopters) imposes a minimum required RVR for all operators.
Please remember that this apparent relaxation can only be applied once all of the new regulations have been adopted by your ATO in accordance with ORS4 1637.
