Note that this formula may therefore be used to calculate the required increase in RVR minima should the OCA for a procedure be increased by NOTAM:
RVR/VIS (m) = [(DH/MDH (ft) x 0.3048)/tanα]
where α is the published glideslope angle, typically 3.00°
